Shobhna Walsh

MBACP, PG Dipl. in Relationship Therapy, Couples Counselling

I have always been a passionate observer of human interactions. I trained as a social worker working with children, and then later on as a trainer for foster carers helping them maintain good relationships as couples and with their own birth children whilst undertaking the challenging task of fostering children from difficult backgrounds.

This is where my passion for human relationships and the impact of our upbringing on our ability to form attachments and maintain relationships was truly ignited. This led me to training with Relate as a Relationship Therapist.

As an integrative therapist I incorporate my interest in human interactions with my passion in understanding how to maintain healthy and fulfilling relationships. I provide therapy that helps individuals and couples explore and understand their relationship patterns that could be causing difficulties in maintaining healthy relationships.

My therapy style promotes a compassionate space where individuals/couples feel validated, accepted and understood.
