Counselling for Separating Couples

Our breakup is final and where do we go from here?

The decision to end a relationship is never an easy one and both partners may go through a range of painful emotions making the breakup intolerable. No matter how hard you try, it isn’t always possible to save or rebuild a relationship or marriage. However, counselling can make the transition more bearable.

Children

If children are involved, breaking up as smoothly as possible can make a world of difference to them. There is a body of evidence* showing that more long term damage is caused to children by  poor quality relationships between separated parents than the trauma of the separation itself.
