I am fully qualified, Relate-trained, couple counsellor with extensive experience of the range of difficulties that couples can face.
All couples experience difficulties at some point and I believe that counselling can help couples work through their problems. I offer a non-judgmental, safe space to encourage couples to explore their issues and find solutions in a compassionate and constructive way.
Cross cultural couples can face unique challenges driven by cultural, racial and religious issues. Common problems that can arise include different parenting styles, extended family and opposing gender role expectations. Couples therapy can help you and your partner to find common ground between each partner’s culture.
I adapt my counselling approach depending on each couples’ needs to ensure that every couple gets a bespoke experience. This helps to ensure that the solutions resonate more deeply.
Areas covered include: communication, cross-cultural issues, depression, anxiety, affairs, parenting, resolving conflict, separation, rekindling connection and intimacy.
I provide Zoom appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
